Phonics

This week we started learning spelling /er/ - er, ir, ur, w+or. Students have received a Roll and Read sheet to practice their spellings. This was handed on on Wednesday, February 11. Spelling tests will take place on Thursdays going forward.

 Ask your child what words make the /er/ sound with the spellings above!

Literacy

Students created a media text in the form of a missing poster. They included important details such as what the person, animal, or stuffy looked like, what they were wearing, and where they were last seen. Students were engaged and enthusiastic throughout the activity. 

Ask your child about their poster!

Math

Students practiced demonstrating their understanding of numbers to 1000 by representing and comparing them in different ways. They showed their learning through activities such as writing numbers in standard form and ordering numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least. 

Give your child some numbers up to 1000 and ask them to order them!

Our Valentine's Day Celebration ❤️

We had a lovely Valentine's Day celebration filled with different activities for students to complete. They had a blast!
